Welcome fellow fashion fiend!
Who doesn’t love the thought of having a wardrobe filled to the brim with designer pieces and one-of-a-kind trinkets? I know I certainly do. Only problem is, I don’t have the deep pockets to deck myself out in designer clothing 24/7.
Backed with the knowledge gained from my time at the London College of Fashion and the 7+ years working in the fashion industry with brands such as Hugo Boss, Giorgio Armani and the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival, I have found a way to look on trend whilst keeping a tight control on the purse strings.
Each week, I set aside a little money to spend on items that translate well from the catwalk to the wardrobe. Along with careful research, planned purchases and clever restyling (yes, I’ll often rework my purchases to ensure I get the most out of them), I find I can keep my wardrobe looking current and style-conscious.
My purchases tend to be under £100 (this being on the high end of the scale) but if I do purchase anything with a heftier price tag, it will be an investment piece that I plan to wear for years to come (and has also been painfully deliberated over to determine its merit in my already overflowing wardrobe).
This blog is where you will find all my picks and see how I’ve styled, and restyled, them to complement my existing wardrobe.
A little bit about me...
Name's Roxanne and I’m a musical theatre junkie, amongst other things. I'm also a teacher (business/dance), globe-trotter and fashion lover.
You’ll often catch me performing impromptu Broadway numbers whilst stuck in traffic. Sleeping in, dressing up, and sweet desserts all tickle my fancy.
